OUR MISSION
Washington Superbike is a student-led organization focused on applying our developing engineering knowledge through solving real-world applications. The team consists of students from a variety of majors including Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Business. Through this variety of talent and dedication, we design and manufacture an electric road racing motorcycle. Our goal is to equip UW students with the technical acumen needed to help the world transition towards a sustainable vehicle industry.

Founded in September 2018
An up-and-coming racing team at the University of Washington Seattle campus, Superbike has our sights set on debuting at competition in 2023. We plan to compete against four other colleges and universities at the annual AHRMA Formula Lightning Varsity Challenge, as well as internationally at the biannual MotoStudent Electric International Competition.
Competitive racing events allow students to take part in research, development, and fabrication for high-performance vehicles. Leveraging the real-world problem solving experience they gain while on the team, Superbike students go on to pursue a high standard of excellence in industry - finding work at companies including Boeing, Blue Origin, and Tesla.
